MINIKIN BAKE BOX – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Minikin Bake Box, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Confirmation

All orders must be confirmed in writing.

A booking is only secured once payment (deposit or full amount) has been received.

Minikin Bake Box reserves the right to decline any order where necessary.

2. Payment

For orders over £50, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 days before collection or delivery.

For orders £50 and under, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Orders will not be prepared or released without full payment.

If final details or payment are not received by the agreed deadline, the order may be cancelled.

Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 7 days of collection are non-refundable in full.

Cancellations made more than 7 days before collection may be considered for a partial refund at the discretion of Minikin Bake Box.

If Minikin Bake Box is unable to fulfil an order due to unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid.

4. Design & Creative Work

All cakes and baked goods are handmade and finished individually. Minor variations may occur.

Inspiration images are used as a guide only; exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.

Final design details must be agreed before the balance due date. Significant changes may not be possible within 7 days of collection.

5. Collection & Care

Orders must be collected at the agreed date and time.

If collection is significantly delayed without prior notice, Minikin Bake Box cannot guarantee the condition of the order.

Once an order has left the premises, responsibility transfers to the customer. Minikin Bake Box cannot be held liable for damage caused during transport or improper storage.

Cakes should be transported on a flat surface and stored in a cool environment away from direct sunlight.

6. Allergens

All products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts.

While care is taken, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

Any dietary requirements or allergies must be declared at the time of booking.

Allergen information is available upon request.

7. Storage & Shelf Life

Buttercream cakes are best enjoyed within 3 days of collection.

Products should be kept in a cool room and out of direct sunlight.

8. Concerns

Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of collection.

The product must be returned for assessment where applicable.

Refunds will not be issued for products that have been fully consumed.

9. Photography

Minikin Bake Box reserves the right to photograph completed orders for marketing and social media purposes unless requested otherwise in writing.

Minikin Bake Box is registered with the local authority and holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating.
